Anne Curtis Smith (Filipino-Australian) is a TV presenter, recording artist and businesswoman. The award-winning actress has received numerous accolades over the course of her professional career. In addition, she was nominated two times for Gawad Urian Awards. Curtis was a part of a range of TV shows, including Hiram and Kampanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino ka Man Dyosa (2008) Green Rose 2011, and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw (2013.) She portrayed Dyesebel, the Komiks iconic character from Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. Other roles she has held include hosting the show that aired at midday, Showtime between 2009 and 2020. Anne Curtis, born on 17th February 1985 in Australia and Philippines, is a television actress presenter, entrepreneur and recording artist. Her achievements include numerous awards in her professional career. These include the two FAMAS Awards a Luna Award two Metro Manila Film Festival Awards and five PMPC Star Awards for Television. She has also been selected for 2 Gawad Urian Awards as well as Eight PMPC Star Awards for Movies. Curtis starred on several TV programs, including Hiram in 2004 and 2005, Kampanerang Kuba Kampanerang Kuba (2005) Maging Sino Dyosa The year 2008 Green Rose 2011 and Kailangan Ko'y Ikaw 2013. In 2014, she played the famous Komiks Dyesebel character on Mars Ravelo's Dyesebel. She was also the host of It's Showtime, a noontime variety program (2009-2020). Curtis is a native of Yarrawonga, Victoria, Australia she is the daughter of Carmencita Ojales a Filipina from Bolinao Pangasinan and James Ernest Curtis-Smith, an Australian lawyer. The father of her mother was married to Ojales in 1982. Jasmine her younger sister also performs as an actress. Their father had one half sister, known as Clare, who passed away in 2007 at the age of 4 months of cardiovascular disease.
